Last week we celebrated our youth! We had students from Carleton University join us in presenting the documentary they created in collaboration with our Nawalakw youth to the community.
Jessica Mountain, Giselle Alfred, Brennan Sawyer, and Lucy Whonnock worked alongside students at Carleton University to create a phenomenal documentary. Members of our community joined us for a celebration at the Big House where we enjoyed a meal together and had a special screening of this documentary that highlights the importance of youth leadership.
Our friends from Carleton joined us on a trip to Hada on Tuesday to view our new facility – we had a beautiful boat ride and a peaceful hike to the waterfall.
